Open Grading to 2nd Kyu

There will be an open Grading for Ojika NI members with three months or more training time completed and for those who’ve previously tested up to 3rd Kyu.

The grading will take place at the Hall on Templemore Avenue on Saturday 15th March. The Hall will open from 1.30pm and there will be a short period of time to warm up.

We will aim to begin the grading from approximately 2pm

There will be no Iaido or Jodo sessions that day.

If time allows there will be free Keiko after the grading up until 5pm.

Format:

Uchikomi Keiko : 2x men, 2x Kote, 2x dou

Kirikaeshi kakarite (cutting side only)

Written portion : Name the parts of the shinai and Bogu – please download the PDF Here and bring it with you on the day
