I began Kendo in 2003 in South Africa but suffered a 5 year hiatus when I relocated to the UK. Currently, I hold the Rank of Godan (5th Dan) in Kendo and have just begun my journey into studying Iaido, having practiced for 6 years, and hold the rank of Shodan (1st Dan) .
